We Pick Up Furniture Donations!

Donations Process
We ask that anyone who would like to donate to Uhuru Furniture & Collectibles use this process. Send us an email at with the following information:

• At least one (1) picture of each item you would like to donate
• Your full name
• The best phone number to contact you
• The location you would like your items picked up from
• The best date(s) to have your donations picked up

*Please ensure that photographs (especially of upholstered items, i.e. couches, chairs) afford a clear, uncluttered view of the piece of furniture.

We generally respond by e-mail within 1-2 days of receiving the photos, and can typically schedule pickups within 2-5 days or less. We pick up donations Tues-Sun. Our earliest time slot for pickups generally begins at 10:30am and our latest is over by 6:00pm. We pick items up from inside the home, and will not accept items that have been left outdoors(except for outdoor/patio furniture).

What We DO NOT Take
• Beds / Bedframes / Headboards / Footboards / Mattresses / Box Springs
• Desks Over 4' Long/Most L-Shaped Desks*
• Large 2-Piece China Cabinets*
• Clothes / Shoes
• Toys
• Baby Items
• Large Office Items*
• Large Appliances
• Large Entertainment Centers, TV Armoires & Wall Units
• Items Left Outdoors That Are NOT Intended For Outdoor Use

*These lists are general, and there are sometimes exceptions. Feel free to inquire in your e-mail.
